June 14th is the World blood donor day!

We would like to remind the importance of voluntary donations, which strengthen solidarity within each community. 

Why donate?
It allows not only to save the lives of those who are victims of an accident or those who need blood for transplant or surgical operations, but above all to the thousands of people who suffer from blood-related diseases and who need periodic or even daily transfusions and medications! 

If you want to donate, you can do it with
AVIS.
First you have to contact AVIS. You have 3 possibilities:
- go to AVIS office (Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, 18)

After completing the application form, it will be possible to make an appointment for the pre-qualification blood sample, to assess the suitability of the Donor Candidate.
Aspiring donors (Donor Candidates who have never donated) will follow a process divided into 3 phases:
    1. Donor-doctor interview
    2. Appointment to make the donation
    3. Donation
